Author Fees

The Journal of Geoscience and Spatial Observation (GSO) is committed to the wide dissemination of research in the field of sustainability without financial barriers for authors during its inaugural period.

1. Article Processing Charges (APC)

Currently,  GSO does not charge authors any fees for manuscript submission, processing, or publication.

• Submission Fee: 0.00 (USD/IDR)

• Editorial Processing Fee: 0.00 (USD/IDR)

• Article Publication Fee (APC): 0.00 (USD/IDR)

2. Sponsorship & Waivers

We are pleased to announce that for all manuscripts submitted before January 1, 2028, the publication costs will be fully waived. These costs are generously covered by the CBM Foundation as part of their commitment to supporting sustainable engineering research and academic development.

3. Post-2028 Policy

Submissions made on or after January 1, 2028, may be subject to a standard Article Processing Charge. Any future changes to the fee structure will be announced on this page at least six months in advance to ensure transparency for our contributors.

4. Fast-Track Option

GSO does not offer "Fast-Track" or "Paid Accelerated" review services. We believe in the integrity of the peer-review process and treat all manuscripts with equal priority based on their date of submission and technical readiness.
